I.D.A. Participant
An Individual Development Account (I.D.A.) is a special savings account only available to program participants. Working with a financial planner, you will create a personal budget and savings plan to help you save for your future.
After you have created a plan you will begin saving for one of three asset options: the purchase of your own home, improvement or start-up costs for your own small business, or tuition to go to college.
For every dollar saved in your I.D.A., you will be matched two dollars. After meeting your savings goals, you will work with professional business, home-buying or financial aid counselors depending on your specific asset choice. These professionals will help you through the home-buying, business start up, or application and enrollment for college.
While in the program you will receive 10 hours of financial literacy education and be able to attend free seminars on current financial issues. This is a great way to reach long-term financial stability; improving the future for yourself, your family, and your community.
We are currently just getting our program up and running. Please contact us if you would like to put your name on our waiting list or have any questions.
